Alhamdulillah! Masha'Allah! Allahu akbar!

Salaam ya'll! I am very pleased to announce that Cap'n and I have married. :-) Alhamdulillah! We had a wonderful time, I think we were both more than the other expected and both grateful to Allah for the love and understanding He has placed between us.

"And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your hearts. Undoubtedly in these are signs for those who reflect." [Noble Quran 30:21]

Masha'Allah. So this was my big secret, I just preferred to keep everything hush hush til it was a done deal, especially due to my health issues. Alhamdulillah I've been perfectly healthy (well for me that is! lol) the entire time I was away and now am back, sans husband. We are just waiting to be reunited and please all, make dua for us that we are together again soon.

This life is hard enough; going it alone makes it even tougher. :-)

Ma salaama!

If I were you I would have used that money to provide for me and my daughter. If I were making $4/hour i would have never bought myself a international ticket to get married to someone I never met.

what does this person bring financially on the table?
You have been conned for green card at least two times before. you should know better

You are a brave woman to voluntarily expose yourself for possible criticism on this blog. I appreciate your open-ness but could not bit my tongue. i apologize.

With more than just a small touch of melancholy and envy, I am very genuinely happy and relieved that your union was all you hoped it would be...minus his return with you.

You will never (not said for dramatic effect) be far from my thoughts....

Wa alaykum as salaam wa Rahmat Allah wa Barakatuh.

This is ridiculously late, I know, but I was on vacation from June 13th to July 13th and then Ramadhaan kicked in. I kind of saw the first line of this post somewhere, but it's only now that I've sat down and read it in all its joyous glory, mashaa'Allah. So, I join you in saying Al hamdul'Illah, Mashaa'Allah, and Allahu akbar! Such beautiful news and I am sending up some SUPER STRONG DUA' that you will be reunited VERY soon and that the two of you find success in this life and the aakhirah - ameen!

May Allah keep you ever on His Perfect Siraat, close to Him, and rightly guided. May he bless you with the most beautiful rewards and relief from the difficulties He tests you with and surround you with people who truly love you for His sake....like me, but a bit closer than Saudi Arabia, LOL!

Barak Allahu feeki and Ramadhaan Mubaarak!

It's a shame you stopped blogging altogether, and deleted all the pictures. Did your hubby ask you to do this?

Assalamu alaikum Sister,

I'm new to your blog and have been reading your past posts. I really love your positive spirit despite your health problems. I hope you have a successful kidney transplant Insha ALLAH. My heart goes with you. I've recently faced the loss of my husband, he was just in his thirties. We've two young kids. Please remember us in your prayers.

Lots of congratulations on your marriage!

Take Care!
